Week 27/11/2009- 04/12/2009

27/11/2009-04/12/2009
During this week I created a table with the tasks that needed to be completed and by when. This means that I organised the tasks which needs to be done and by when they need to be completed. When doing this I allocated myself the task of emailing the actors setting dates for when they would be required to film scenes. In order to do this a meeting was set up with them and a list was taken of their email addresses and days available. With this data I compiled I was then able to set the official dates and emailed it to them. I think that this went well because emails are quick and simple ways to send messages to people also I think that many people use emails to talk to friends or long distance families. This means that the chances of the person getting the message through their email are higher.

The other task I did was analysed a teaser for the film "Grace", looking at the key questions, shot list and information that I thought was relevant based on the teaser. Before I analysed this teaser I researched different movies and created a mood-board. I wanted to create one which was showing the variety of films I looked at and one where I was focusing on a specific film. In the end I created an animoto using www.animoto.com and I also used “windows media maker” to edit sound and merge the two video clips of “Them” and “Devil Times Five” and put the song “Beauty and the Best”. The reason why I did this is because I wanted to enhance my creative knowledge of the film.

Next week I am finalising the locations of where I think the filming should take place, I am not directly filming however I will be present when the filming is happening in order to talk and guide the actors on what they may need to do if the filmier is not able to do this. By being present I am also able to change location if I do not think that it was a good place to film or change the location if there are any inconveniences such as the rooms being used.
I will also be logging the scenes so that when it comes to editing I will know t he shots which I want to use.
